Welcome to just letters, a newsletter with musings and encouragement from my heart to yours. You are most welcome. This is a letter to begin the story, to say hello. A prologue, if you will.
After signing up (button below), you’ll get one welcome email and after that you can expect a newsletter that includes all sorts of thoughts about writing, editing, authoring, publishing, and creativity, as well as my trademark favourite things from podcasts, to books, to songs, or movies.
All in grayscale; my signature, just letters.
When it comes to stories, there’s a liminal space between the pages of my books and your heart, and I am thankful for my readers. To follow my author journey, you can subscribe to my behind-the-scenes-team here. Otherwise, this Substack newsletter will be about you and I, being creatives, being writers, being authors in the publishing industry and staying alive while we do it!
I am a wife, homeschooling mother of three epic kids, overdrinker of tea, and writer of love stories. I like to describe my brand as exactly that: love//stories. I love theories of story, I love reading stories, I love writing stories. My promise as a writer of poetry or novels is there will always be starcrossed romance and timeless endings. Atmospheric, poignant, cinematic, lyrical, vintage, light academia, vibes piled on Pinterest plied from mood playlists—that’s me. On the bright side, I love choral music, A Desperate Fortune by Susanna Kearsley is my favorite book, and Crash Landing on You music still makes me cry so I write to Ludovico Einaudi instead.
So, thank you for coming along, I'm so happy you’re here.
Searching the heavens, from Eden to Eternity,
Brittany
